“We love each other, period.”

Loving one another is not always easy, and we learned that pretty early in our life within our own families. Whether it’s a sibling rivalry or thoughts of being treated unfairly by our parents, our emotions sometimes make us temporarily not love others that we are supposed to love and who love us.

Ultimately though, we realize that family is family, and usually, we remind ourselves that we love each other, period. Sometimes it’s a parent or friend who reminds us that family is essential and accepts that.

Family love is sometimes tough because we don’t choose our families. We are born to our parents and siblings; cousins, aunts, and uncles are not something we can choose but rather something we are surrounded by.

As we get older, we start to make friends, which are the first relationships that we have where we are allowed to make our own choices. We usually develop a tight bond with our close friends, and we love them as much as a family, and although our opinions are sometimes different or we disagree, we still love each other, period.

As we get older, we eventually enter the workplace either as a teenager for a part-time job or after high school or college for a full-time job. The workplace I am writing about this week is our workplace, the great and awesome TLC workplace.

This brings us back to where we started; just like when we were born, we were surrounded by people that we did not necessarily choose but that are part of our family, and that’s what we are here at TLC. We are always hiring positive people for shipping, customer service, and marketing, to name a few.

As they join our family here at TLC, we sometimes work closely with someone we have never met before and may be quite different from us. Perhaps they are a different gender or a different race or maybe even another religion, but they have joined our family by choice. Even though it wasn’t our choice to join our family, it doesn’t matter.

Just like in your biological family, when it comes to your TLC family, please remember that we love each other, period. If they are willing to join us by choice, then one thing that connects us forever is that they have made a choice that is the same as our choice. That choice is to join the TLC family, which is committed and determined to make the world a better place, one smile at a time.

This weekly communication is also read by TLC Life Changers, whom I also remind that you and other Life Changers are also part of the TLC family. People join that family every day by choice, but sometimes it’s not your choice to join your sales team or your workplace or your event, but It can be your choice to accept them, welcome them, celebrate them and love them, period!

If your mother gave birth to another sibling, you would love them because they would be your brother or sister. Even if you disagreed or became frustrated with each other, you would eventually forgive each other because family is family. The same is true here with your TLC family. You have brothers and sisters here that you may not have chosen, but God and the universe have chosen for us, let’s remind each other daily that we are family and we love each other, period.

Love is the only thing that will ultimately change the world and make it a better place, and it’s got to start somewhere, so why not here at TLC? We have amazing people here, and we are doing great things around the world. It may not be perfect here, but our hearts are perfect so let’s do this!

Thank you for reading, and remember, you are my brother or sister, and I love you, PERIOD!
