Having avoided Network Marketing his entire business life, when Scott Bent first heard about Total Life Changes, he didn’t believe a word of it. Scott is the first to admit he was wrong, wrong about the industry and wrong about Total Life Changes. “Total Life Changes has blessed my life! Scott has been working for himself for 20 years inside of the Marketing Industry. When he was introduced to Total Life Changes by his wife, Candace and sons Travis and Xavier, he had no interest. However, once he used Iaso Tea for 3 weeks and got great results, he took a deeper look. Scott had this to say, “TLC has multiple streams of income inside the 5 ways we get paid in the compensation plan. As an entrepreneur, it blew me away, it’s easy to see if you understand business.” After joining in September of 2014, he moved full speed ahead using TLC products. He lost 46 pounds in 37 days and began to use his marketing experience to spread the word. His YouTube Channel (Fit and Free TLC) quickly grew as he shared his experiences with TLC and created product and compensation plan videos as tools for easy communication.*
“This product line is unreal! Each and every product I tried did exactly what it was supposed to do! I really was amazed,” adds Scott. He attributes his own success to the fact that he became a product of the product; “You can’t offer a total life change, unless you make one yourself.” Scott constantly reminds his team. “We have team members who have lost over 100lbs and gotten their life back, these products are no joke.” Scott’s driving force is his passion for helping others get physically and financially free. “I love helping people and have served in many ministries and nonprofit organizations, TLC is a vehicle for ministry – helping people get fit and free.”*
Although Scott has worked for himself for 20 years he has also had many other experiences that he attributes to helping him succeed in Total Life Changes: On Air Radio Personality, Editor of International Magazine, Motivational Speaker and Mentor for At Risk Youth, Chess Expert and United States Class Champion and Minister.
Being new to Network Marketing didn’t hold Scott back, he began to travel to cities where he focused on growing teams and helping others even if they were not financially connected to him. Chattanooga, Kansas City, Bowling Green, Louisville, DC, Nashville, Birmingham, Little Rock, Jersey City, Raleigh, Fayetteville, Huntsville, Northern Virginia, Atlanta, Chicago, Indianapolis, Detroit and his hometown of Cincinnati are all cities he has attended and presented at events. His current home of Fort Wayne, Indiana has a thriving TLC market where he, along with Philip Birchfield and Dominic Moore, hold weekly events and weekend events with up to 650 guests. He understands the value of events and has traveled to Houston, Atlanta, New Orleans and Detroit for TLC National and Corporate Events.
On reaching the rank of Regional Director in TLC, Scott said, “I am excited and happy about the accomplishment, Regional Director is a six figure residual income, but by no means am I satisfied. I expect to reach National Director before the end of 2016, which will allow me to help several team members achieve six figures in TLC. As we get closer to 2017, I am excited to be a part of the larger vision of getting TLC to a $500 million company. We have much bigger goals, but one step at a time is how you arrive at any destination.”
He admits his journey has had its challenges, “as with any company that is experiencing tremendous growth, we had our challenges. But I am so thankful for our corporate team, newly named President and Tea Executive Officer, Jack Fallon, C.O.O John Licari, General Operations Manager Rosa Armenta and the marketing team held down by Scott Bania and Mari Jo Serdoner. They have all been so receptive as we have communicated the challenges in the field. They not only heard us but they went to work, constantly improving TLC on every level.”
Scott is an example of the “One Team, One Team” slogan of TLC, sharing training, tools and duplication systems with the overall TLC team – not just his own.
